The Ultimate Wedding Day Packing List

As wedding planners, we are all about lists! This one in particular, is one of the most important lists for your wedding day. In most cases, you are traveling to a venue and you want to make sure you have a great list to work off of. Now, not all items on our list will apply to everyone, but we recommend using this as a guide while you are getting ready for the big day! This is the one we use for our clients and we hope that those who are reading can benefit from it as well!

WEDDING DAY PACKING LIST

♥ Special Details for Photography (all assembled in a box/bag ready to go upon photographers arrival)

• Invitation suite (2 copies)

• Rings – all 3 bands

• Shoes

• Jewelry / Hair accessories

• Perfume

• Stationary, letters to each other, vow book

• Wedding paper goods such as: programs, bride/groom name tags, menu, any personalized items.

• Décor such as: accents, or significant pieces that represent the wedding

• Wedding favors or welcome bags

• Something old, new, borrowed and blue

• Groom accessories such as: cufflinks, bow tie/tie, cologne, socks/shoes, belt/suspenders, boutonnières, etc.

♥ BRIDE attire

• Wedding dress: steamed and packed in a bag using a hanger with a twist top (important for dress photos)

• Veil and/or hair accessories

• Shoes

• Undergarments

• Garter

• Jewelry – earrings, necklace, rings, etc.

• Food + drinks for the day

• Getting ready outfit (robe, pajamas, slippers, etc)

• Comfortable shoes to change into for reception

♥ GROOM attire

• Suit / Tuxedo

• Shirt/pants

• Tie/bow tie

• Belt

• Underwear / Socks

• Dress shoes / boots

• Other accessories such as: pocket square, watch, cufflinks, vest, suspenders, etc.
